Social Shows
As the audience went online, so did I, adapting our regular TV shows for new digital formats. This began with Faceboook Lives, experimenting with how we could interact and engage with a social audience. I was part of the team that launched CNN's first Facebook Watch show "Anderson Cooper Full Circle." We tried the format for a business audience on our own platform and produced a show called "Markets Now," hosted from the NYSE. I then developed and launched CNN's more immersive, mobile-first Facebook Watch show "Go There" - A single topic, daily news show using our reporters in the field.
An episode I produced at the beginning of the pandemic, called "Fear and Anxiety inside Wuhan the epicenter of the Coronavirus outbreak," went viral with more than 210 Million views, becoming Facebook's most watched hard news show in a decade. It has been nominated for an Emmy and was awarded an Eppy Award for Best Investigative/Enterprise Video.
